Goshen Global Vision celebrates World Environment Day with St. Mark Anglican Basic School.

At a time when extreme temperatures, abnormal storms and and natural disasters remind us every day about the irreparable damage to mother Earth, World Environment Day, provides a hope and an opportunity to all of us to do our bits for the protection of the environment and earth’s well being.
The World Environment Day is celebrated annually on
June 5. Over the years, the commemoration of this
celebration has been a robust driving force by the United Nations to promote awareness and action for the protection of the environment. The theme for 2023
celebration is “#BeatPlasticPollution“.
In attendance was the Paramount Queen Mother of Essikado, Nana Ekua Kwadu II, who spoke and educated all present on keeping a hygienic surrounding free from plastic waste.
Also speaking at the occasion were personnel from the EPA and STMA NADMO who educated the pupils on curbing plastic waste nuisance by adapting the principles of the 3Rs, which is Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
The Executive Director of Goshen Global Vision, Mary Perpetua Kwakuyi donated Dustbins and other clean-up items to the school.
Planting and cleanup activity on the school’s premises by students and all stakeholders.
