Happy Earth Day!
Today, as we celebrate our beautiful planet, we reflect on the importance of protecting and preserving its natural wonders. At Goshen Global Vision, we’re proud to play our part in this global effort by planting trees in various landscapes, from forest reserves to cocoa farms, road medians to homes, schools, and churches.
With the support of incredible funding partners like #TerraFund for #AFR100 and #USFS, alongside collaborations with governmental agencies such as Forestry Commission, Ministry Of Agriculture, and Cocobod, as well as support from organizations like Planet Women and One Tree Planted and many more, we’ve been able to expand our reach and make a tangible impact on Earth’s health. Together, we’re not just planting trees; we’re nurturing ecosystems, fostering biodiversity, and combating climate change one sapling at a time.

But our commitment to the planet doesn’t stop there. We also work closely with farmers, promoting climate-smart agriculture practices that minimize environmental impact while maximizing productivity. From utilizing biochar and chicken droppings for fertilizers to harnessing rabbit urine for weedicide and pesticides, we’re embracing innovative and sustainable solutions to ensure a greener, healthier future for agriculture and the planet.
This Earth Day, the theme “Planet VS Plastics” reminds us of the urgent need to address plastic pollution, a threat to our environment and wildlife. Here are some strategies we can implement to curb plastic pollution:
– Reduce Single-Use Plastics: Encourage the use of reusable bags, bottles, and containers to minimize the consumption of single-use plastics.
– Proper Waste Management: Implement effective waste management systems to reduce plastic litter and ensure proper disposal and recycling of plastic waste.
– Education and Awareness: Raise awareness about the environmental impacts of plastic pollution through education campaigns and community outreach programs.
– Support Legislation: Advocate for policies and regulations that promote the reduction, recycling, and proper disposal of plastics at local, national, and international levels.
– Innovation and Alternatives: Invest in research and development of sustainable alternatives to plastics, such as biodegradable materials and eco-friendly packaging solutions.
Together, let’s join hands to protect our planet for future generations. Every action, big or small, makes a difference. Happy Earth Day! #EarthDay#PlanetVsPlastics#GreenFuture#5YearsofGGV
