GGV HOLDS 2021 GOVERNMENT GREENING STEERING COMMITTEE REVIEW MEETING
Goshen Global Vision with funding and technical capacity and assistance from the United States Forest Service, from the launch of the Project in September 2019, “ Urban and Peri- Urban Greening Sekondi-Takoradi “TWIN CITY” Restoring lost forest/ Green Spaces and promoting Climate Smart Agriculture #projects” has collaborated with Parks and Garden and the Departmental heads of Key agencies within #Sekonditakoradimetropolitanassembly, #Effiakwesimintsimmunicipalassembly and #Shamadistrictassembly.
As part of the collaborations #STMA #EKMA both made available their Conference facility as their in-kind contribution for the meeting which was held on 17th and 18th November 2021 respectively.
The District Assemblies are custodians of the lands and therefore GGV ensures they are part of the decision-making process to ensure transparency, stewardship, accountability, and sustainability.
Due to the above, they were engaged in a conversation to review the successes chalked together for 2 years, challenges faced and lessons learned. They also had their turn to contribute to the design and implementation of the third (3rd) phase of the project
We rounded the days up with our stakeholders acknowledging their appreciation to GGV for our commitments and excellent collaboration over the past two years, they pledged their unending support to Goshen Global Vision in the third phase of our project.
